Mr. Ataus Sopan Malik won the AIP award 2020

Mr. Ataus Sopan Malik, Managing Director, A. R. Malik Seeds (Pvt.) Ltd. and Secretary General, Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DBCCI), won the prestigious award on 'Agriculturally Important Person (AIP) 2020” from the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. He received the award from the honorable Agriculture Minister Mr. Abdur Razzak, MP on 27 July 2022 at Osmani Milonayoton Auditorium, Dhaka.

First, of its kind in Bangladesh, the government has selected 13 farmers from the whole country to award 'Agricultural Important Person (AIP)' status for their outstanding contributions to the development of the country's agricultural sector. Of the thirteen, Mr. Sopan from AR Malik Seeds Pvt. Ltd. won the award from the "agricultural innovation varieties/technology" category. Agriculturally Important Person (AIP) status will enjoy the same benefits as the commercially important persons (CIP).
