Established on 29th
December 1999, The Dutch Bangla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DBCCI) is a
bilateral trade organization registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock
Companies, Government of The peoples Republic of Bangladesh and incorporated
under the Companies Act XVIII of 1994.
Companies having 100% Dutch ownership/ Dutch-Bangla joint ventures and local
companies doing business with the Netherlands are eligible for membership of the
Chamber.
Current Membership strength of the Chamber is 104.
The main objectives of the Chamber are:
to Promote
bilateral trade and investment between The Netherlands and Bangladesh.
to Serve The
business interests of DBCCI members and the Dutch Companies interested in
doing business with Bangladesh.
to Strengthen
trade links between the Bangladesh and The Netherlands
to disseminate
knowledge and in formation relating to trade, commerce, industry and
economies of both the countries.
to promote goods
and services of the Netherlands in Bangladesh and vice versa.
to help solve
business disputes, if any between Dutch and Bangladeshi companies.
to organize
visits of business delegations of The Netherlands
to Bangladesh and
vice verse.
to organize
seminar, workshops etc. in order to help expand trade ties between The two
countries.
DBCCI has been in the process of disseminating
knowledge and information organize visit of the delegation from the
Netherlands, vis-a-vis Bangladesh, help and resolve disputes of the
member companies, if arising during business transaction as well as to
organize and administer workshop, seminar conference,
training and
strengthen ties fairly to come and close as to the bosom by
being each-other’s partner.
To
disseminate knowledge and information relating to Dutch trade,
commerce, industry and other economic fields.
To
help and to resolve business transaction disputes between
companies from the Netherlands and Bangladesh as and when
necessary.
